Throughout the years, the Bedouins in the Levant have been known for producing their own products from cheese to furniture, all from the available resources they have. The colors of the desert are clearly reflected in their attire, furniture and most importantly, in their rugs! Using only authentic wool, they weave their rugs and runners with distinguished patterns
The sandy brownish color reflects the colors of the desert, while the triangles represent the mountains surrounding the desert. This pattern is known as the traditional Bedouin one. The other colors used are the colors of the Jordanian flag (black, red, green and white).
